About the author

Teresa Elegido is a junior at Arizona State University, pursuing an undergraduate degree in Anthropology with a concurrent degree in Global Studies and a minor in Political Science. Being an international student from Spain herself, she intends to pursue a master’s degree in International Studies after her graduation. Her passion for traveling, experiencing and discovering new places and cultures is what led Teresa all the way to Arizona, and it is also a key component in her future career choices. In the future she hopes to be able to do what she loves most, which is to keep on traveling around the world and discovering new places!
